Dr. Jennifer Kerr

Dr. Jennifer Kerr was born and raised in the Windsor area and has herself been a patient at the Tecumseh Dental Centre since she was 5 years old. From an early age she was inspired by Dr. Gary Remillong, the founder of the Tecumseh Dental Centre, to pursue a career in dentistry because she enjoyed coming to her visits and always had positive experiences. Dr. Kerr greatly admired how Dr. Remillong took such great care of his patients, was passionate about the quality of work provided, embraced new technologies, and loved giving back to the community through various sponsorships. She knew that this was the type of career she wanted for herself as well. Dr. Kerr completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Windsor in Honours Biochemistry with Thesis in 2005 and then completed her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, graduating in 2010. During her time in Dental School Dr. Kerr was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon academic achievement society and in 2009 she received the Detroit District Dental Society’s Award of Excellence in Patient Care for her exceptional commitment to compassionate patient care.

Dr. Kerr began practicing at the Tecumseh Dental Centre immediately upon graduation. In 2014 she and her husband, Dr. Stephen Napolitano, purchased the practice from Dr. Remillong and continued to work together with him for many years, delivering the same compassionate care that patients of the Tecumseh Dental Centre have always known.

In recent years Dr. Kerr has taken a step back from full-time practice to raise her two young children. She greatly enjoys spending time with her family and their beloved pets. She actively participates in school functions and local community events in her neighbourhood. You will often find Dr. Kerr working at the front desk of her office because although her scheduled time is more limited, she truly enjoys visiting and connecting with her long-time and new patients. Balancing her career and family life is a priority for Dr. Kerr. She treasures spending quality time with her husband and kids, finding immense joy in watching her children grow and creating lasting memories by exploring new activities together. Dr. Kerr deeply values her friendships, often catching up with friends over tea or enjoying outings together. As a lifelong learner, Dr. Kerr is passionate about continually expanding her knowledge for both personal and professional growth. She enjoys reading books, listening to music, and being in nature.

Dr. Stephen Napolitano

Dr. Stephen Napolitano was born and raised in Royal Oak, Michigan. At a young age, he was inspired to pursue a career in dentistry by his parents, who owned and worked together in their own dental practice. Dr. Napolitano graduated from the Wayne State University in 2006 where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and was elected to the academic Phi Beta Kappa society. He continued with his education at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, graduating in 2010 with a Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree.

Upon graduation, Dr. Napolitano began his initial dental career at his father’s practice in Southfield, Michigan. In 2011 he married Dr. Jennifer Kerr and permanently relocated to the Windsor area to grow his family. Dr. Napolitano began working full-time at the Tecumseh Dental Centre in 2012 and together with Dr. Kerr, they purchased the practice from Dr. Gary Remillong in 2014.

Dr. Napolitano takes great pride in advancing his education and staying current with new developments in dentistry. He proudly offers his patients access to the latest advancements in dental technology across various areas of care. He regularly seeks out new ways to enhance patient treatment through these advancements, ensuring the highest level of care.
Dr. Napolitano is dedicated to offering compassionate and attentive care, ensuring that each patient feels valued, understood, and comfortable throughout their dental experience.

In his personal time, Dr. Napolitano enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids and delights in supporting his children in their various activities. Dr. Napolitano also enjoys spending time with his extended family and friends in both Essex County and Royal Oak and attending local community events.

Dr. Napolitano’s passions include cooking and experimenting in culinary creations, weightlifting in his garage gym and watching professional sports. He is a lifelong fan of the Detroit Lions and the Detroit Tigers. He enjoys taking his kids to live games as well as cheering for his teams from home. Dr. Napolitano also enjoys family vacations, bike rides, and listening to music.
